24" Surface Sander Time Rental

This page is dedicated to scheduling time on my 24" wide belt sander. The grits I have a available are below and a description of their purpose. Please select First Time Appointment to learn how to use the machine for the first time. 

$1.50 a minute. Most small jobs take about 10-15 minutes.

Grits: (not all grits are needed for a single job)

60 (for heavy sanding, generally getting the board flat)

80 (for surface clean-up)

120 (for close-to final sanding)

220 (final finish Sanding)

Other tools available to use. If a group gets together, this could tur​n into a makerspace/hackerspace/fablab!
